While ultratress, a division of On Rite, is four years old, their focus on beauty for women can be traced back to ancient Egypt, where women were just as interested in their hair. In fact, according to tomb paintings and archaeological records, hair extensions were very popular more than 3,500 years ago!

Wigs varied in quality and undoubtedly price, with the finest wigs made entirely of human hair. Today our focus echoes the hair stylist of other eras… beauty and the use of the very finest hair for our extensions.

Originally On Rite specialized in hair loss for men. However, in 1998, a new company by the name of Gemtress was created to address hair loss for women. It soon became obvious that this was an important new direction for the company.

Over the next  decade the women’s division grew to the point that in 2004 ultratress was launched. Today the company’s staff of six Sales Consultants, in conjunction with an extensive and committed Client Services Department, work closely with hair studios, hair salons, and beauty schools throughout  the world.

To provide the latest techniques and innovative sales strategies, the ultratress division of On Rite created an internationally acclaimed Hair Academy, attracting professionals from salons and hair centers from around the world. Located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, our beauty academy offers monthly events for the On Rite, Gemtress and ultratress divisions.

Through a highly developed curriculum, our state-of-the-art Hair Academy offers a hands-on format to teach participants the best ways to apply, cut, style and remove the best hair progressions on the market today.
